Meghan Price's practice employs the language of pattern, the meaning in material and the intelligence in making. It is motivated by wonder, skepticism and the potential artistic process has to alternatively model the world.

Dusk Flight is a series of 4 woven panels featuring flock formations of European Starlings. Through the process, the birds become pixels when digitally photographed and, with computerized jacquard weaving, the pixels became intersections of threads. In this way, an instant of self-organizing, moving pattern is frozen and transposed to the woven grid.
