Warm up your vocal chords for the next edition of our popular Night Out series: Sing & Sip! We’re bringing the fun group-singing style of “Choir! Choir! Choir!” to Cambridge with our own version led by local vocalist and choir director Lynn McRuer. Come learn a Top 40 hit and perform as a group in the Queen’s Square lobby on Wednesday, April 5 from 6:30 – 8:30pm. Now doesn’t that sound like a great night?
The magnificent history of the Bruce Trail Conservancy is the theme for this month’s Cambridge Third Age Learning lecture. Join Beth Gilhespy, CEO of The Bruce Trail Conservancy, on Thursday, April 13 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Trillium United Church in Preston to learn more about her organization as she leads you through a virtual hike of the Bruce Trail from Niagara to Tobermory. CTAL lectures are always popular so don't forget to register in advance!
From the antique items in your basement, to the family heirloom in your attic, there is no denying that everything has a story. Discover the story behind some of your favourite treasures at Art & Antique Appraisal Day on Saturday, April 29 from 11:00am – 3:30pm at Queen’s Square. Specialist from Bonhams Canada return to offer verbal appraisals in two categories: Fine Art (painting, drawing, prints) and Decorative Art (china, collectibles, clocks, furniture and accessories). Be sure to register in advance to secure your appraisal appointment.
Our community’s best up-and-coming singers and songwriters take over Queen’s Square on Sunday, April 30 from 2:00 – 3:00pm for Unbelievably UnPlugged! Hosted by Craig Norris of CBC Radio, this afternoon of stellar performances is presented in partnership with Cambridge Live Music.
