Learn all about your ancestry on Tuesday, March 6 at Preston from 2:30 – 3:30pm in Ancestry.ca for Beginners! This workshop will be an overview of Ancestry Library Edition, so bring as much ancestor information as possible for an easier research experience.

You know his name and notorious reputation as the current President of the United States, but what has happened during the first year of office for President of Donald Trump? That’s what Dr. Breckenridge’s Cambridge Third Age Learning (CTAL): The Presidency of Donald Trump lecture will discuss on Thursday, March 8 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Trillium United Church (450 King Street East, Cambridge). This lecture is a continuation of a lecture in 2017 (The Causes and Consequences of Donald Trump).

If you’ve ever thought about raising backyard chickens, then we have the program for you! Learn how rewarding the experience is, how it’s great for teaching kids, and other ins and outs in Gardening and Beyond: Backyard Hens on Monday, March 26 from 7:00 – 7:30pm in Preston. Children are welcome to attend Pajama Tales storytime in the children’s department from 7:00 – 7:30pm as well.

Have you heard about Jane’s Walk? Jane's Walk is a movement of free, citizen-led walking tours inspired by Jane Jacobs where people tell stories about their communities, explore their cities and connect with neighbours. Join our Let’s Get Walking: Jane’s Walk Info Session on Sunday, March 25 from 2:00 – 3:30pm in Queen’s Square to learn about the movement and upcoming walks in May.

We’re looking forward to seeing you in March at Idea Exchange!
