This book is not good. I get that it's from the past, but that doesn't excuse it. The language is flowery and insane, and the plot goes nowhere. The author will just stop the action and start writing about other stuff. Raoul is a creepy entitled nice guy who needs to chill. Christine is naive and ridiculous. Why does she just agree to pretend to be engaged to Raoul for no reason? And everybody is acting like white people in horror movies.
