Denise Goyer was born in Montréal in l947. After a short stay at Ecole des Beaux-Arts Montréal, she completed a four-year study at Institut des Arts Appliqués de Montréal in l970. She established her workshop the same year.
Alain Bonneau was born in Montréal in 1946. He studied Graphic Arts for three years and carried on as a graphic designer for seven years. He associated with Denise Goyer in l975 to create the team Goyer Bonneau. Since, they continued to perfect their knowledge - attributed in part to study trips: France: Sèvres National Factory, Paris; Chastagner and Haviland porcelain; Limoges. Germany: Rosenthal China, Zelb and Rosenthal Glass, Amberg. England: Wedgwood Factory; Stoke-on-Trent pottery region. Countless publications in Canada and U.S., and several specialized books throughout the world cite their work, approach and research. They are present in numerous public and private collections notably: Québec Museum / Civilisation Québec Museum / Indusmin Museum Ontario / General Foods Co. Ontario / Québec Government House New York / Montreal University / Arizona State Museum.
