Judith Dingle is a textile artist known for her architecturally scaled quilted wall hangings and textile constructions, many commissioned for residential and corporate collections. She has been exploring three-dimensional mixed media in her work and thereby extending the traditional definition of the quilt. She has won acclaim and awards for her work from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council. Dingle’s work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Canada, the United States, Europe, New Zealand, Japan and Taiwan. Her work is found in public collections, such as the Textile Museum of Canada, the Claridge Bronfman Collection, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, as well as worldwide private collections.
