Stacey Spiegel was born in Hespeler, Ontario. Canada. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University, Toronto, Ontario. Most recently, he splits his residence between Canada and Norway. Stacey is a renowned artist working on sculptures, new media installations and computer-based artwork. He is also a businessman, innovator and educator. He is CEO, creative director and co-founder of Parallel World Labs based in Toronto. His company includes designers, developers and technology developers and has won numerous awards. He is a winner of the Bernice Adams Memorial Arts Award and a recipient of grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and Ontario Arts Council. Southwood Secondary School, his alma mater, has recognized him for his accomplishments by electing him to their Hall of Fame in 2005. His sculptures and computer based artwork have been exhibited nationally and internationally solo and in group shows and are included in public and private collections including the National Gallery of Canada and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
