Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts
June 15-29 | A prototype mini putt hole will be installed in the 2nd floor space in the Historic City Hall using Astro Turff, site maps, and volunteers in golf attire. Installation of hole June 11-14. |
COMMON GROUND EVENTS
LAUNCH PARTY will take place on the Friday evening and through the day on the Saturday.

7:00pm | Opening receptions at both Queen’s Square and Design at Riverside |
7:30pm | Comments at Queen’s Square (all contributors present) Refreshments and cash bar at Queen’s Square and Design at Riverside |

10:00am-11:30am | All creators will be at their sites to interact with the public |
12:00-2:00pm | MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT |
2:30-4:00pm | 3ByLAND Landscape Architecture firms will present in a forum at the Lecture Theatre, University of Waterloo, School of Architecture |
5:00-7:00pm | Reception at rare Charitable Research Reserve Launch 3ByLAND exhibition installation by Janet Rosenberg Architect. University of Guelph students’ design for the annual Ontario Sand, Stone and Gravel Association competition |
September 15
10:00am- 3:00pm | So You Think You Can Build? A community project in collaboration with the Hespeler Harvest Festival where members of the community are invited to participate in a public art installation based on landscape architecture, urban renewal and art. All supplies are provided. This event will take place at Forbes Park (Tannery St entrance) |
12:00-4:00pm | So You Think You Can Build?
