Life + Learning

  • Ontario Parks Day Use Permit
  • A path in a forest

We know it’s been a bummer not being able to travel this past year. And while we can’t exactly offer you plane tickets to the heart of Prague or to the Greek Islands, we have the next best thing: Ontario Parks Day-Use Passes!

What does that mean for you? It means that we’ve got your day trip covered! Day-Use Passes can be checked out for one week and can be placed on hold. As an added bonus and while supplies last, each checkout will also receive a day-use discount coupon for $5.00 off the regular price of an Ontario Parks daily vehicle permit. That way you can explore even more parks later.

A Day-Use Pass provides one vehicle (and everyone in it) with complimentary day-use access to more than 100 Provincial Parks in Ontario! Depending on your chosen park and on COVID-19 safety measures, this means that you and your family can enjoy access to the following:

  • trails
  • beaches
  • boat launches
  • paddling routes
  • visitor centres
  • pet exercise areas
  • and more

These passes provide you with a great way to get out of the house and enjoy the fresh air with your social circle. It can also help you scout out Provincial Parks to help you decide where you might want to go camping in the future. If you’re admittedly not an “outdoorsy person,” consider this a sign encouraging you to try something new!
