Idea Exchange is seeking to hire a talented Youth Services Assistant for our Preston location.  Does this sound like you?

As a Youth Services Assistant, you will be part of a team, developing the learning experience for our members. You will be putting your creative skills to the test by planning, organizing and leading various youth programs with a STEAM focus using hands-on technology for kids as well as assisting them with questions and finding materials.  You will also be responsible for circulation and other administrative duties.

To be qualified for the role, you should have previous experience working with youth, programming and/or performance and be familiar with current trends and technologies for children and teens. You should also be someone who is welcoming and enjoys working with people of all ages.

This is a part-time position where you will work approximately 42 hours in a bi-weekly period.  The position may require work from multiple branch locations within Cambridge. The starting schedule is as follows (subject to change):

Week 1

Monday 12:30pm - 8:30pm

Tuesday 9:30am - 5:30pm

Wednesday OFF

Thursday OFF

Friday 9:30am - 2:00pm

Saturday OFF

Sunday OFF

Week 2

Monday 12:30pm - 8:30pm

Tuesday 9:30am - 5:30pm

Wednesday OFF

Thursday OFF

Friday 9:30am - 2:00pm

Saturday 9:25sm - 2:30pm

Sunday OFF
