Looking for some Fall fun for your children? We can help! All Idea Exchange locations offer a variety of after school programs to keep children engaged during that often awkward gap between the end of school and dinnertime.
At Queen’s Square, you will find The 4 PM Project on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-5pm. You can explore crafting, robotics, comics, collaborative art, construction challenges, and more at this one-hour program. If Minecraft, Pokémon and Marvel are some of your child’s favourite things then this may be the program for them.
At our newest location, The Old Post Office, your child can participate in programs from Lego Stemotics to building a night light cube. If those don’t suit, maybe dropping by for some Retro Gaming would be more up their alley.
You also have the choice of visiting Clemens Mill in their newly renovated space. This fall Clemens Mill hosts our Code Masters program (drop-in ages 6+). During this one-hour program children will have the chance to explore simple hands-on coding with various robots and other “no batteries required” resources.
Hespeler’s location will be offering Tech Time, a drop-in program dedicated to exploring a variety of technology each week in a fun and relaxed environment.
If you are looking for a program a little later in the evening, check out Steam Night at Idea Exchange Preston, a hands-on exploration program for the whole family around themes of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
