We have a number of helpful new library collections to launch for kids and their families just in time for back to school. And now they’re ready to go!

Read the Rainbow literacy kits are now available at all Idea Exchange locations. Each kit has books, manipulatives, audio resources, and practice sheets at similar levels of reading. They are great to practice reading skills! Every kit is different and each level has over a dozen kits to explore with different titles, toys, and practice sheets. Beyond the kits, there are over a thousand Read the Rainbow classified titles that can be found in our catalogue with individual items available at all locations. Refer to our brochure available at all locations which compares Read the Rainbow to grades, age ranges, and other systems.

Wonderbooks are another wonderful new resource. These are picture books that read themselves. Really! Each book has a self-contained audio player right inside.

Our new Launchpads are pre-loaded, kid-friendly tablets with games and books for a wide range of interests and ages.

We’ve expanded our collection of Books to Go bags. You can browse the bags of books of pre-selected themes, take what you want, leave what you don’t.

Speaking of browsing, it’s back! In-person browsing of the children’s collections is now available for most collections. We are looking forward to helping you get back to school!
