This January, the kids will barely have had time to get back into school after winter break before another PD Day is coming your way on Friday, January 26. While a winter PD day can be a hairy situation for a caregiver stuck indoors with energetic kids, we are providing some fantastic alternatives for busy families - so that PD days are a wonderful experience not just for kids, but for parents, too!

At Queen’s Square, it will be Snowing in the Library! Come in between 10 am-12 pm for some snowy activities. We will have crafts, games, and lots of fun stations for a snow-errific morning!

Did you know we have a collection of parenting resources right in Youth Services that you can explore while your kids are crafting? Come and check some out!

At Preston, you can stop by for a Winter Warm-Up! Taking place 10:30-11:15 am, the Preston library will have hot chocolate cups to decorate, and active games to warm everyone up!

Exercise your tech skills and learn to code the fun way at Hespeler! From 10:30-11:15 am, play with all of our tech toys and create a cool take home project.

Are you stealthy and strong? Do you want to learn the ways of the ninja? Come to Ninja Camp at Clemens Mill, where we’ll test your skills and have lots of fun!

We hope to see you at Idea Exchange this January 26 – kids, and parents too!
