Happy Earth Day from Ms. Niketa, friends!

I hope you enjoy Earth Day fun as much as I do.

Earth Day would not be Earth Day without reading The Lorax by Dr. Suess, which can be found on the Libby app along with many other Dr. Seuss favourites. Do not despair if you have to put The Lorax on hold, because while you're waiting you can watch this cool rap version of the story created by Wes Tank.

If you are looking for some Earth Day friendly reads for your middle grader, check out Justine McKeen, Walk the Walk by Sigmund Brouwer on the Libby app. Justine McKeen is the Queen of Green! She doesn't like all the cars idling in front of her school, and comes up with a solution to help keep the air cleaner, even though the adults aren't too crazy about the idea. How does that work out? Guess you'll have to read and see!

And it wouldn't be a post from Ms. Niketa without getting a little crafty. Get creative with an Earth Day Necklace that will show everyone how much you love Planet Earth.

Take care, everyone!
