Dreams come to life this summer at Idea Exchange!

If you have been around Idea Exchange at all during the summer then you have probably seen, or at least heard of, the TD Summer Reading Club. The Kids Summer Reading Club is sponsored by the TD Bank Group and is run by over 2,000 public libraries throughout Canada including Idea Exchange here in Cambridge. But we take the Summer Reading Club up a notch or two!

With games, prizes, and special programming all summer long, we dream up all kinds of ways to inspire interest in reading and encourage literacy development through the summer months.Check out our summer programming calendar online or pick up a copy of our magazine at your local branch.

The theme this year is “Reach for the Stars!” and our games and activities will encourage children to discover new hobbies, hone skills they already have, and respect the wide spectrum of ability levels we all have.

When it comes to literacy and a love of learning, the sky is the limit and this is the message we want to share with all our young members at Idea Exchange. Remember…

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. --Harriet Tubman
