  • How To Be A Bawse

Meghan, Queen's Square | April 14, 2020

During a serious situation, it can be a relief to laugh and find the absurdity in life. This week, I invited some wacky neighbours into my apartment – not by breaking social distancing, but by downloading comedy audiobooks from Idea Exchange using the Libby app.

How to Be a Bawse, by Lilly Singh, How to Invent Everything, by Ryan North, and Assassination Vacation, by Sarah Vowell, have all made me chuckle.

If classic comedy is more your thing, Brain Droppings by George Carlin is a ground-breaking classic that will make you question preconceptions.

I’m a sucker for British wit, so I love being able to enjoy audio versions of The Blackadder series, Monty Python’s Flying Circus and Stephen Fry’s English Delight as well.

If hanging out at the house is getting you down, why not host some hilarious houseguests with help from the Libby app? I promise they won’t overstay their welcome.
