Start off 2018 in a great way!
This year we are starting a new program for people who like to knit and crochet, and who would like to give back to our community. Come out to Knit For a Cause and make something for someone in need. You could make a hat, a scarf or a pair of mittens or socks for someone who is in need of some warmth, or you could make a tiny cap or booties for a premature baby, or a blanket for a dog in a shelter. All of the items made in this program will be delivered to one of these organizations to make someone's life a little bit better:
This program is held on Wednesdays starting on January 17th from 4:30-5:30 PM at Clemens Mill Idea Exchange. Come out and join other knitters while you work on your projects—have a chat, compare ideas and projects, and make some new friends.
Please bring your own knitting or crochet needles and yarn. We have many books on knitting and crochet which you are welcome to look at while you’re here, or borrow them to take home and practice your craft.
This is a drop-in program. For more information, please call 519-740-6294.
