Idea Exchange | May 18, 2021

Exciting news! Idea Exchange has upgraded our Lynda.com service to LinkedIn Learning. It contains twice the amount of courses in over 7 different languages!

If you have a Lynda.com account, upgrading is easy. You can watch the process in the 40 sec video at the bottom of this page or follow the steps below:

  1. Go to our new LinkedIn Learning site and click on Get started.
  2. Enter your Card Number and PIN and click on Continue.
(PINs were recently enabled at Idea Exchange, if you haven’t reset it then it will be the last 4-digits of your phone number on file).
  3. On the Welcome page, click on Sounds good then you must select at least one topic of interest. When you have selected your chosen areas of interest, click on Continue.
  4. LinkedIn Learning allows you to set a weekly goal of time to spend learning. You can choose one of the options and Set goal or choose Maybe later.
  5. You’ll see the You’re all set! Notification. Just click on Start learning and your upgrade is complete.

All existing learning history and certificates will appear in the upgraded accounts once you've logged in and completed the upgrade. If you have more questions about how your content will sync from Lynda.com to LinkedIn Learning, please have a look at this Frequently Asked Question page from LinkedIn.

Please note, users do not need a LinkedIn account to use LinkedIn Learning.
