What do you do when you have 400+ enthusiastic and eager volunteers, ready to dig in, share their talents and be a part of something more? You enable them!
Introducing VicNet, an online, one-stop, volunteer concierge. VicNet invites our volunteers to dive right in and discover the opportunities that satisfy their needs and suit their schedule. It is a place to visit, pick up the newsletter, see what’s happening, tap-in.
With VicNet potential volunteers can submit an application, book an interview and sign up for orientation. Volunteers already on our team can view opportunities, update personal information, sign-up for postings, check the schedule and post hours all from any computer with internet access. No more waiting for an Invitation to Volunteer or Confirmation email. No more wondering, “Is there something interesting happening I’d enjoy, or something more I could be doing?” It’s in your hands now!
VicNet connects staff contacts and volunteers directly, so questions can be answered and details can be shared. Can’t make it in for a scheduled shift? No problem. Just log-into VicNet to take yourself off the schedule, your staff contact will be alerted to your absence and the opening will become available for other volunteers to enjoy! Forgot when you are supposed to start your shift - or which location you are signed up to help at? Why worry? You can check online any time night or day.
Self-Direction. Enthusiasm. A readiness to dive-in! These are the things that make volunteering more satisfying and VicNet puts it in your hands.
Are you an Idea Exchange volunteer? If you have your VicNet log-in and password you can LOG IN HERE.
