Creative projects have a life of their own. Sometimes what starts out as simple series of photos is re-imagined as a range of gorgeous T-shirt designs or becomes the inspiration for a video short to share on YouTube.
Alternately, you may find that the literary ‘zine you’re designing needs some art and suddenly, you’re on track to create a thematic photo collage. A flash of brilliance like this can become a source of long-term inspiration and even a new career or side hustle if you have the right tools at the right time.
That’s why I’m thrilled we offer Adobe Creative Cloud at the Old Post Office’s Creative Studios. Adobe Creative Cloud provides a diverse range of professional software applications for polishing your images, editing videos to perfection, building eye-catching websites, designing persuasive publications and much, much more.
It’s a handy digital toolbox that gives you the freedom to experiment with different media, learn new skills and showcase your imagination in new and more engaging ways. Here are a few of the nearly limitless project ideas:
- Work with Illustrator and Photoshop to build an amazing character design, then use Abode Animate and/or Character Animator to bring your creation to life with animations.
- Add polish to your vacation photos using Photoshop, then turn them into a custom postcard with InDesign or into a photo slideshow with Premiere.
- Create a graphic T-shirt design with Illustrator.
- Design a newsletter using InDesign, then convert it into a handy PDF format with Adobe Acrobat DC.
To start your journey, check out this list of the wide-ranging Adobe Creative Cloud software, all free to use in the Creative Studios:
