Idea Exchange | May 20, 2018
Restoring time is no easy feat but Idea Exchange’s Old Post Office location has intertwined the beauty of the past with the advances of the future.
The original Galt Post Office was designed by architect Thomas Fuller and built in 1885. But in the present day, RDH Architects designed a restoration and adaptive re-use of the space, opening in 2018 as a new digital library for Idea Exchange.
On Friday, July 6,* from 6:00 – 10:00pm at the Old Post Office location (12 Water Street South, Cambridge), you can witness the breathtaking history of Galt become a place where you can adore the old and the new.
There will be a family dance party, an outdoor performance stage, maker and tech activities, incredible bands and a spectacular projection light show at dusk! You won’t want to miss the restoration of time.
