“Music is the universal language of mankind.”
- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
He isn’t wrong! Music has been an integral part of the human experience for centuries. Music can motivate us to do many things: laugh, dance, sing, and even fight against the injustices of our world. It is a powerful and beautiful thing. A single song can be the glue that bonds an entire community, be it locally or across the globe.
The Music Hub at OPO has demonstrated just that! Over the past year we’ve had the pleasure of watching our own musical community grow. Some come to practice, some come to learn and some come to collaborate with fellow musicians.
And now, we want to give all our local musicians a chance to take the stage!
On June 4th, from 6 – 8pm the Old Post Office is hosting its first ever Open Mic Night! All experience levels are welcome. If you are interested in performing, please register at the link below. Make sure to arrive 20 – 30 minutes before our start time to secure your spot in the lineup.
Not a musician? We welcome you to come out and enjoy the show!
