Have you ever wanted to try a 3D printer? Engrave your favourite photo on a piece of wood? Sew a costume, or design your own t-shirt with a Cricut machine? Then the Old Post Office Makerspace is for you!

There are endless projects you can create in our space – and the best part is it’s all free to use! You only pay for any materials.

No idea where to start? We’ve got you covered! Sign up for one of our Introduction to Laser Cutting or 3D Printing Essentials sessions, or fill out this form to have a one hour Tech 1-1 appointment with a Makerspace staff.

Once you know the basics you can simply call the Makerspace to book up to two hours at a time, up to a week ahead. Just bring your project idea with you and one of our staff members will do their best to assist you.

If you want to start off with a simple project check out our Create your Own 3D Puzzle program every Sunday until December from 1:00-3:00pm, suitable for all ages. This drop-in program will show you how our laser cutter works, and maybe help to get those creative juices flowing for future project ideas! The cost is only $2.00 per model, with a different puzzle every week.

Have more questions? Check out the Makerspace page on our website for general information, how-to guides, and material costs. You can also give us a call, or simply pop by for a visit! We will see you – and all your amazing ideas soon!
