Lauren Brinson in an interdisciplinary artists from Newfoundland and Labrador working in Victoria BC. Her work explores value structures in cultural textile practices through their relationships between utility and aesthetics. Through active and passive objects, Brinson works to remind, implicate, and question tacit bodily associations to textiles.
