Description:

Creating art in all forms serves as a beautiful way to express about all parts of the self, including our emotions and experiences. What happens when it brings forth more than we expect for the individuals we are supporting?

Join registered psychotherapist (RP), art therapist (MA), and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) Jazmine Tufford-Singh as she discusses the ins and outs of working with vulnerable people in the creative environment, including how to get a police records check, how to respond compassionately when someone shares difficult or challenging information, how to fulfill the responsibilities you have in your role, how to engage in self-care to sustain your own mental health and more. If you want to work with children, seniors and/or other vulnerable groups, or if you already do and are in need of support, this is the session for you.
