Description:

Have you always wanted to try making music but didn’t know where to start? Are you curious about new technologies? Adults 50+ are invited to come explore music and creative technologies at our Old Post Office location! Sessions will be led by Ying Jiang – Community Music Master of Arts Student – Faculty of Music, Wilfrid Laurier University.

This program is part of a larger study happening nationwide to understand the physical health benefits for participants in community music groups. This research is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Each week you can expect to get hands-on with a variety of new tools for music making in a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. There are no mistakes here, just fun!
