Our modern lives are filled with digital assistants from the Amazon Echo to Google Home and even Apple's recently announced HomePod product. Convenience is one thing, but what about them listening in all the time? Is there a security and/or privacy risk? Should you be worried? Come join us for a discussion about these smart home devices and other "Internet of Things" ideas like smart door locks, smart thermostats, smart appliances and more. This informative talk aims to relieve some anxiety and provide some guidance on modern technology within your home.
