Rhythm & Blues Presents: Black Girl Excellence Program: A Black History Month Event

February 13, 2021 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Calling all young Queens! Come have fun with us as we try dance, crafts and other activities that build self-awareness and self-esteem in a supportive environment with a professional facilitator. This program is offered on zoom and comes with a free kit of supplies.

Registration is required. Please register for each attendee in your household so you receive the right number of supply kits. Kits can be picked up curbside at Idea Exchange, Queens Square location (1 North Square, Cambridge) between February 10-12 during regular service hours, 10:00am to 6:00pm. Please follow the instructions on the signage when you arrive for pick up.

Meet Our Facilitator:

My name is Neva Ezzat and I am a 23-year-old Egyptian Canadian who is a radical advocate for Feminism and Diversity. I am currently the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for Kinbridge by day and an Abstract artist and expressionist by night! I have been running programs and creating art centered around the mindfulness and wellbeing of female-identifying youth for three years now and have currently expanded my work to all ages and genders. My programming is always centered around long-term growth, representation, liberation, and social justice.

Online: Please register for this program through Eventbrite.
