This personal documentary film workshop will provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge of the mechanics involved in producing a personal documentary film. The attendees will learn basics of this type of filmmaking through the process of actually making a short film. The documentaries will offer firsthand insight into the participants' relationships with the local waterways or will examine the theme of water in a more general sense. In order to realize their projects, participants will be taught how to develop their own unique conceptual approach.
Participants are asked to bring a cellphone capable of recording video or a video camera to the workshop.
Led by Roberto Santaguida.
