Tea Time with History

Sunday, November 8, 2020, 2:00 - 3:00pm

Sit down with your favourite cuppa tea and join us for an afternoon steeped in rich history and unforgettable characters. Historical fiction has always been a captivating genre to read; it makes us consider events of the past and how they have shaped our world today. It also allows authors to shed light on women’s role in history, which has often been overlooked. Join us as we talk about books featuring fierce independent women whose story you may not have known. Kayleigh Platz will moderate this event with guest authors Jennifer Robson (The Gown), Kristin Harmel (The Book of Lost Names), and Danielle R. Graham (All We Left Behind). Q&A to follow, so please come prepared with some questions.

If you are interested in ordering a book from one of the authors visit The Bookshelf's website.

This program is virtual and is delivered through Zoom and on Facebook Live.

This event has been funded by Veterans Affairs Canada.
