Did you know that the 150-year-old Knox’s Galt Presbyterian church is one of the oldest and largest church buildings in the Waterloo Region? Explore the beauty of this six-story tower while listening to the skillful sound of an organ playing in the background. Maybe you would like to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Fashion History Museum and enjoy an exhibition of fashion pieces from the past 300 years! These are just two of the local buildings that will be open to the public on Saturday, September 16, 2017 for Waterloo Region’s Doors Open. The theme sites will reveal who we are as a region through historic buildings that represent the identity and innovation of the Waterloo Region.
