Teens are invited to join visual artist Ken Daley as he shares his experiences, his art, and takes you through some exercises to unlock your creative potential and productively deal with stress.

Introduction to Screenwriting: Short Film

Participants will view and discuss an award-winning short film as a springboard to learning the basics of screenwriting: how to create strong protagonists and suspenseful narratives with thematic resonance, and how to format scripts to the film industry standards.

Virtual Tour of The Toronto Zoo (All Ages)

We are excited to celebrate World Animal Day with the Toronto Zoo. Get ready to see lions, giraffes, zebras, and hippopotamus! We will be exploring the African Savanna region at the Zoo. A Zoo ambassador will be our guide and share amazing facts about the animals that live in this region.

Mindfulness and the Brain (Ages 18+)

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn about the benefits of mindfulness on the brain, body, and emotions and have opportunities to try short mindfulness practices. Participants will come away with concrete tools to navigate stress, cope with overwhelming emotions and increase focus.

Join us as we chat about all things love and romance with popular Young Adult authors S.K. Ali, Jason June and Lynn Painter. Kayleigh Platz will host the discussion. Don’t worry, we’ll leave time at the end for questions from the audience.
