Want to learn a new recipe? Learn how to make Nigerian Jollof Rice as part of our Cooking with Neighbours: Ibelemari Kio program on Thursday, September 3 at 7:00pm. Ibelemari will also talk about her culture, traditions, and her experience settling in Canada. Check out the list of ingredients ahead of the program.

Our Inner Sparks continues their seminar series this month with How to Achieve More with a 12 Week Year on Tuesday, September 15 from 12:00 – 1:00pm. Join us for an introduction to this concept and how you can get started.

Learn how to save your own flower, vegetable, and herb seeds during Seed Saving with Bob Wildfong from Seeds of Diversity Canada on Saturday, September 19 from 2:30 – 3:30pm. Bob will lead us through the process of harvesting, drying, and storing seeds. If you picked up this years’ One Seed, One Community seed (Provider Bean), you’ll also learn the specifics on how to save seeds from this plant.

Wildlife photographer Paul Gaines is back for Ontario Wildlife Encounters on Thursday, September 24 at 7:00pm. Join him on a photographic journey across Ontario while listening to his entertaining stories about his various encounters.

Find out what makes Madagascar so cool from Keriann McGoogan, lemur expert and author of Chasing Lemurs, and Travis Steffens, lemur researcher and Executive Director of Planet Madagascar, at Marvels of Madagascar on Friday, September 25 at 2:00pm. Separated from the mainland of Africa for over 80 million years, Madagascar has been an evolutionary experiment on steroids. From leaping lemurs to strange leaf-tailed geckos and web throwing spiders, join us to learn more about the incredible biodiversity of Madagascar.

We’re kicking off Culture Days with Musical Lives Guitar Open Mic on Sunday, September 27 from 2:00 – 3:00pm. Enjoy this online classical guitar concert featuring musicians of all playing levels from around the world.
