Who doesn’t love Halloween? Whether you like your entertainment frightfully scary or a little on the tamer side, Idea Exchange has fun for all ages and stages.

Babies and preschoolers can have some fun with board books like EEK Halloween! Or Sophie’s Halloween Disguise. School age kids will love Scaredy Squirrel prepares for Halloween and The Everything kid’s Halloween Puzzle & Activity Book. Have a kitchen dance party with the Kidz Bop: Halloween Party! CD. Older school age kids can borrow one of my childhood favourite Halloween specials on DVD - Garfield’s Halloween Adventure or get spooked with Goosebumps: Zombie Halloween.

Adults will enjoy spine tingling fiction by Andrew Pyper. His latest book The Residence  is based on true events of President Franklin Pierce and his time in the Whitehouse. Join us for a virtual author event with Andrew Pyper on October 29 at 7:00pm. Fans of Andrew Pyper may also enjoy author Gillian Flynn or other creepy and atmospheric reads like The Shadows or The Little Stranger.

Get crafty with new Halloween decorating ideas with Halloween: 101 Frightfully Fun Ideas . Or try Extreme Halloween: Making Halloween Scary Again for those that prefer things on the scarier side. Make some gross guacamole or BBQ bones with the recipes in Halloween: Costumes, Parties, Activities, Recipes.

Perfect your pumpkin carving game with The Pumpkin Carving Book or try Extreme Pumpkins: Diabolical do-it-yourself designs to amuse your friends and scare your neighbours.

Although Halloween might look a little different this year, there is still lots of fun to be had with inspiration from Idea Exchange.
