Sick of vampires?
Totally over werewolves?
Wanna say “Get lost Fangbreath!” or “So long Furface!”?

Well you’re in luck because zombies are the next big thing! Just imagine it: their eerie groaning reaches your ears, you smell a hideous decaying stench and, just then, the door creaks open and a bloodthirsty army pours in, intent on devouring you. What do you do? Figure it out fast with The zombie survival guide: complete protection from the living dead. It’ll tell you how to survive the zombie apocalypse with all your limbs still intact!

If you’re pretty sure that you don’t need survival help, and you just want to enjoy all the gory brain-munching fun, check out Warm bodies, a startlingly daring zombie Romeo and Juliet reboot. Library Journal calls it “the world’s most unlikely romance in a story that is by turns harrowing, poignant, and tender”. You can also try a new take on an old classic: The war of the worlds, plus blood, guts and zombies. And I can’t forget Pontypool which has been described by staff as “the most poetic zombie book by a Canadian author”. We also have the dvd of Pontypool. And I totally love Zombieland, starring Woody Harrelson with Bill Murray in a hilarious cameo. Best. Zombie. Comedy. Movie. Ever!

Now my personal favourite zombie series is the Walking Dead graphic novel series by Robert Kirkman. If anyone thinks that zombie comic books aren’t scary, they haven’t read this chilling award-winning series.

If you want to totally gross out your kids, get them A zombie’s guide to the human body: tasty tidbits from head to toe.

Don’t worry teens; we didn’t forget about you! If you’re in the mood for some bone-crunching goodness, try The Enemy where anyone over the age of fourteen has turned into a bloodthirsty monster. Don’t miss the rest of this frightening series! Now if you’ve always wondered who’s better, check out the twelve wicked short stories of Zombies versus Unicorns, and wonder no more! With stories like “The care and feeding of your baby killer unicorn”, the answer may be different than you think. It’s an epic grudge match that you don’t want to miss.

So whether it’s marrow-crunching fun, scary groaning thrills or even a lurching zombie romance that you’re looking for, we can help with that. But you’d better watch out because they just might shamble their way into your heart…or devour it!
