This stylish sequel to the original Blade Runner has spectacular cyberpunk visuals and a soundtrack of evocative synth soundscapes. The script draws on many of the same themes regarding compassion and the nature of humanity that drove the first film, although the dialogue isn't as quotable as some of Deckard or Roy's speeches from the classic screenplay. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth watching when you're in the mood to explore a rainy film noir vision of the not-too distant future.
