After breaking German encryption at Bletchley Park during the war, mathematical genius Susan Gray, along with all the women working at Bletchley, are forced to return to domestic life and sworn to secrecy about their work. Years later, when Susan discovers a pattern in a series of baffling murders she reaches out to the police only to be dismissed. Fearful of future murders, Susan brings together three other ex-Bletchley girls to crack the killer’s code. Immensely likable characters, great period detail, understated social commentary and a compelling mystery make this show a hit.
