Sometimes you just want a page-turner. This novel scratched that itch for me, as well as offering up the sort of highly satisfying revenge fantasy we’re more accustomed to seeing on the big screen. Four back-stabbing investment bankers are trapped in an elevator-turned-malevolent-escape-room and forced to confront their most evil deeds and each other. The plot has enough twists and turns to keep you turning the pages, waiting to see who, if anyone, will survive this diabolical game. If you liked the SAW movies or Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, you will probably enjoy this suspenseful tale.
