Kills on Wheels is a great little Hungarian flick about hitmen who just happen to be in wheelchairs. The two main characters are friends Zoli (who has spina bifida and uses a wheelchair) and Barba (who has cerebral palsy). What sets this movie apart is that both Zoli and Barba are played by actors with disabilities and the film offers an authentic look into their world. When they find themselves befriending ex-fireman and fellow wheelchair user Rupaszov they get caught up in his life as a hitman. As most people either dismiss or ignore them, they are all well-suited to the life of assassins. The whole film has a comic book feel (as Zoli and Barba are aspiring comic book creators) and the ending is surprisingly nuanced.
