Hilarious and heartwarming! Moone Boy follows the adventures of young Martin Moone and his friend Sean Murphy. Only Sean is his imaginary friend, and since Martin is rather normal and somewhat safety conscious, his imaginary friend is a 30-something man in a suit whose middle name is Caution. This show is so absurd it had me in stitches. Martin and Sean get into all sorts of adventures and all the imaginary friends seem to know each other and hang out when their kids are asleep (or ignoring them). The premise pays off and even the subplots involving Martin’s family are enjoyable. Set entirely in Ireland, I can’t think of any other show quite like Moone Boy and I mean that in the best possible way.
