Part of Neil Young's charm has to be his unwavering duty to himself as an artist, seemingly uninterested in fads and fashion. Most of the film is Neil Young playing solo (intimately captured by Jonathan Demme) in front of an enraptured crowd as Massey Hall. The concert is interspersed with Young returning to his home town and then driving to his gig. A few classics are included, but much of the show is newer material. Very enjoyable.
