Don’t read this book if you’re planning to sleep ever again. Or at least not if you want to sleep soundly. This is a horror novel with a premise that’s just crazy enough to keep you hooked and wondering how the author is going to make this high-flying daredevil act work. What’s more, it takes this over-the-top concept and manages to spin it into a plot that’s genuinely terrifying. If you like horror fiction reminiscent of Stephen King in the ‘70s, this will give you a lot of the same flavour but with 70% less pages.
