St. James, Simone.
Things I love in a book: a mystery, ghosts, dual timelines, creepy/unsettling vibes, a teeny tiny touch of romance, thrills, amateur sleuths. Things this book had: all of the above. I had such a fun time trying to solve this mystery - which was doubly interesting as we read about it in 1982 and in 2017. And the small touch of ghosts and the supernatural gave this story a a harrowing yet emotional touch. To top it off, I couldn't predict the ending until our main characters solved the mystery - which is always a bonus in my book!
