After the passing of their mother, three bickering sisters fulfill her final wish by performing a pilgrimage to India to rediscover their roots. However, along with their suitcases, they’re also bringing plenty of emotional baggage with them on their journey. Much like Jaswal’s previous novel, Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows, this is an enjoyable family drama that mixes lighthearted moments with a more serious exploration of women’s rights, cultural traditions and the bond between siblings.
