There are a couple of good general level printmaking books out there:(The Complete Printmaker by Ross and Romano and The Printmaking Bible by Ann Hughes),but if you're interested in woodcut specifically, here's a great resource. Clearly laid out, well illustrated, and well written, Ontario native Walker will take you through the basics and beyond.
