Be Our Next Teen e-Writer in Residence

Calling all Cambridge teens! Do you have a gift for storytelling? Are you bursting with ideas and craving an online space to share them with people? Are you looking for a creative outlet that will help you build your resume and post-secondary school applications? Have we got an opportunity for you!

Applications are open for our second annual Teen e-Writer in Residence program, where you can provide content for Idea Exchange’s website and social media channels about things that are happening in your library, in your community, and in your lives. We have a supportive and fun team that will guide you in your writing journey, and help you tell your stories to a wide and diverse online audience!

A huge thank you to our inaugural Teen e-Writer in Residence, Mya Kidson, who contributed her incredible talent by writing short stories, poetry, reviews, and blog posts that got us thinking about our community from a teen perspective. It’s time to pass the baton to another Cambridge teen for a new year of thoughts, perspectives, and opinions. It’s your page; it should be your voice!

To apply for this exciting volunteer position, please submit a short paragraph (up to 250 words) telling us why you want to be the next Teen e-Writer in residence for Idea Exchange’s Teen website.
