Imagine… delving into the world where fiction meets reality.

Have you ever picked up a book that is so engrossing, so interesting that you just can’t put it down? And once you’ve finished, what then? It seems like it’s all over too soon. Well, teen book club may be the thing for you.

Teen book club lets you share your ideas with like-minded individuals. It enables you to look beyond the pages and get to know other book enthusiasts.

With the beginning of a new year we wanted to start on a new chapter, and so Idea Exchange is starting something new. A book club for teens, led by teens. A book club for you!

And NO…this isn’t English class, and there are no right or wrong answers. You don’t even have to speak up, but if you do, we’ll listen. We want to know what you think and why. If you don’t like the book, that’s OK. We are open to new suggestions!

It’s even OK if you don’t finish the book. Come anyway, but remember, there will be spoilers.

The first book is honest and funny, but painful too. It’s Speak, by Laurie Halse Anderson, and copies are available for you to borrow at the Hespeler information desk.

We are stoked for the FIRST EVER Idea Exchange TEEN book club, held at our Hespeler location on the last Thursday of the month, January - June 2018, 6:30-8:00pm. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
