If you are taking part in the summer Teen #IEXchallenge and want to know how to increase your chances of winning some great free stuff this is the post for you! You can submit up to 10 reviews for ten extra chances to win one of the four great prizes donated by local businesses in Cambridge.
Wondering how to do it? Follow these easy steps:
1. Search our catalogue on a computer (sorry, phones won't work) to find the item you want to review. It doesn’t just have to be books – we’d love to know your opinions on music and movies, too! Once you’ve found the item you want to write about, click on the title of the item to open the record. On the right hand side of the page, you will see a heading called User Reviews, and under that, a grey button with a star and the words “Add Review”. Click on that button.
3. Next, the title and author/artist of the item should already be visible in the first two boxes. You can now decide how many stars you think the item is worth (out of 5!), and where the item belongs in our collection. Don’t forget to include your name and home library location and then you are ready to write your review!
4. The last step after you’ve written your review is to complete the CAPTCHA question (so we know you aren’t a robot!) and click Submit. Your review will appear on the website almost immediately. Feel free to tell us all about the great (and not-so-great) movies, books and music you’ve encountered. And, you can read your friend’s reviews on the Teen Reviews page; you might discover your next favourite title!
