Five years ago a popular high school senior was murdered by her boyfriend, who then killed himself. Or at least that's the story the whole town has chosen to believe. But it's five years later and high school senior, Pip, is diving headfirst into this cold case because she believes there's more to the story. I had such a good time following our amateur sleuth through all the twists and turns this case threw at her. It was thrilling, fast-paced, and full of clever deductions that had me cheering on our main character. But I will admit that the main character is much smarter than me, because I ended up not guessing the culprit until the last five pages! I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to solve a small town mystery alongside a likeable main character.
