Thank You to Our Volunteers!

  • thank you in block letters

Shannon, Queen's Square | April 2, 2017

April is National Volunteer Month, and we salute the more than 400 individuals who donate their time, ideas and energy to Idea Exchange.

In 2016, a grand total of 378 individuals volunteered their time to Idea Exchange by performing a whopping 10,608 hours of service. The tasks performed were varied: some traditional, like Visiting Library Service, shelf reading, craft and material preparation and program support; others more innovative, like the Preston Community Garden, photography and video volunteering, Third Age Learning and Excess Party Committee volunteering.

Thank you volunteers! Our programming is richer, our buildings are more vibrant and the future of our community is brighter thanks to your contributions

Just finished volunteering at the Galt branch picking up cigarette butts at the front entrance. Looks great!

Thank you so much Scott for the clean - up work you did this Saturday afternoon with your daughter! The front entrance at Queen's Square has never looked better. Volunteers like you make a huge difference to Idea Exchange.
